Innovative Process: Incorporating jasmine/gardenia flower scenting techniques into the traditional Jin Jun Mei process to create a unique ‘tea and flower dual excellence’ flavour
Eco-friendly Tea Garden: Located in the wild tea region of Tongmu Pass, Wuyi Mountain, at an altitude of 1,200 metres, where tea trees and mountain flowers coexist naturally.
Premium Raw Materials: Picked before the Qingming Festival, with 50,000 to 60,000 buds used to produce one pound of tea, and over 80% of the tea leaves containing golden downy hairs.
Dry tea: Dark brown with golden tips, delicate and slender like eyebrows, with natural flower petal fragments.
Tea colour: Amber with a golden rim, as transparent as Burgundy red wine.
Aroma:
- Top notes: Wild honey.
- Middle notes: a blend of gardenia and jasmine floral aromas
- Base notes: a delicate orchid fragrance
Taste: Fresh and pure like dew, with a cooling sensation in the throat, and capable of withstanding over 12 infusions.
✓ Tea leaves → Wilting → Rolling → Fermentation → Initial drying → Fresh flower scenting (3 scents, 1 lift) → Charcoal roasting to fix the aroma
✓ Patented low-temperature slow drying technology preserves the active molecules of the floral aroma
Brewing Guide
‘Ice Spring Brewing Method’: 4g of tea + 200ml of 85°C mountain spring water, pour the first 3 infusions after 5 seconds, brew in a glass cup to watch the golden hairs dance.
